# Girder Construction (Segmental)

This section defines the segmental erection sequence for U-girder segments.

## Steps

### Step 1: Navigate to Girder Construction

Navigate to **Construction > Superstructure Construction > Girder Construction** in the tree view.

### Step 2: Define Segment Erection Sequence

Create construction stage assignments for each girder segment in erection order.

### Step 3: Include Closure Pours

Assign closure pour elements to stages after adjacent segments are in place.

### Step 4: Coordinate with Temporary Supports

Ensure temporary support stages align with girder segment erection.
