Strands

This section imports prestressing strand profiles from the OpenBrIM library.

Steps

Step 1: Navigate to Strands

Navigate to Properties > Strands in the tree view.

Step 2: Import Strand Profile

Click the three-dots icon on the first cell of Name and select Import Strand Profile.

Step 3: Select Strand Size

Import the following strand profile from the library:

Library Path	Profile Name
OpenBrIM Bridge Objects > ASTM Strand Sizes (Imperial) > ASTM A416 Grade 270ksi	Grade 270 3/5 inch No:15

Import Strand

Verification

After completing these steps, the strand profile should appear as shown below.
