# F Shape Barrier

This section defines F-shape barriers on the right side of each deck span.

## Steps

### Step 1: Navigate to F Shape Barrier

Navigate to **Superstructure Attachments > F Shape Barrier** in the tree view.

### Step 2: Select Deck

Click the **three-dots icon** on the **Deck** cell and select **Span1**.

### Step 3: Set Barrier Orientation

Select the orientation for the right side of the deck.

### Step 4: Set Material

Set the concrete **Material** to **Fc\_3\_2ksi\_NoStiffness**.

### Step 5: Set Transverse Location

Set **Start Transverse Location** and **End Transverse Location** to **Right**.

### Step 6: Enter Dimensions

Navigate to the **Dimension** tab and enter the barrier dimension parameters.

### Step 7: Create Barriers for All Spans

Repeat the previous steps to create F-shape barriers for Span2 and Span3. Enter names for each barrier.
