# Substructure Construction

Substructure construction definitions for the Steel I Girder Training Example will be provided in this section.

The construction definitions of substructure elements will be made using the following objects:

* **Bearing Construction**: Bearings will be constructed at the stage of girder erection.
* All of the substructures listed below will be constructed within a single stage: **SubstrConstStage**
  * **Pier Cap/Bent Construction (Complete)**
  * **Pier Column Construction**
  * **Foundation Construction (Complete)**
  * **Pile Construction**
