For detailed parameter explanations, see the Pier Cap/Bent Construction (Complete) Reference.
The design process of steel girder bridges typically involves modeling the construction of pier caps, pier columns, foundations, and piles as a single stage to streamline the analysis and reduce the number of required stages. However, in real-world construction, these components may be constructed separately over multiple stages, depending on factors such as site conditions, available resources, and project schedule. OpenBrIM offers features that allow users to model these details with various stages and time-dependent staged construction analysis.
Navigate to Loading > Construction > Substructure > Pier Cap/End Bent (Complete) in the tree view.

Click the three-dot icon on the Stage cell and select SubstrConstStage.

Click the three-dot icon on the Pier Caps cell and select Pick.

Select all Pier Caps that were previously defined from the 3D View.

Click Done to complete the selection.
All pier caps should be assigned to the SubstrConstStage.
