Girder Erection (Complete)
This section defines the complete girder erection construction stage.
Overview
Girder erection is typically only necessary to consider the non-composite state of girders in a design process. As a result, in general industry practice, girders and cross frames are erected in a single stage. However, if the user needs to model a detailed girder erection process, they can utilize the features available under the 'Girder Erection (Partial)' section.
Steps
Step 1: Navigate to Girder Erection
Navigate to Loading > Construction > Superstructure > Girder Erection (Complete) in the tree view.
Step 2: Select Construction Stage
Click the three-dot icon on the Stage cell and select GirderStage as the construction stage.
Step 3: Assign Bridge
Click the three-dot icon on the Bridge cell and set the Bridge as BRG1.
Verification
All girders and bracing should be assigned to the GirderStage.
