# Materials

This section imports and configures material properties for the Steel Tub Girder Bridge.

## Steps

### Step 1: Navigate to Materials

Navigate to **Properties > Materials** in the tree view.

### Step 2: Import Materials from Library

Click the **three-dot icon** on the first cell and select **Import Material**.

Import the following materials:

| Material  | Library Path                                                                 |
| --------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Fc\_4ksi  | OpenBrIM Bridge Objects > Concrete Material Database (US) > US AASHTO        |
| Fc\_5ksi  | OpenBrIM Bridge Objects > Concrete Material Database (US) > US AASHTO        |
| A709\_50  | OpenBrIM Bridge Objects > Steel Material Database (US) > Structural Steel    |
| A709\_50W | OpenBrIM Bridge Objects > Steel Material Database (US) > Structural Steel    |
| A615\_60  | OpenBrIM Bridge Objects > Steel Material Database (US) > Reinforcement Steel |

### Step 3: Assign Stress-Strain Models

For **Fc\_4ksi**, click the **three-dots** icon, select **Edit**, and set **Stress/Strain Model** to **Mander Concrete**.

### Step 4: Configure Reinforcement Steel

For **A615\_60**, set **Stress/Strain Model** to **Bilinear Steel**.

### Step 5: Create Rigid Material

Create a new material named **RigidMaterial** for rigid elements.

## Verification
