F Shape Barrier

Navigation: Superstructure Attachments > F Shape Barrier

Step 1: Navigate to Superstructure Attachments > F Shape Barrier

Step 2: The F barrier will be defined on both the left and right sides of the Deck object.

Click three-dots icon on Deck cell and set Deck1 at twice.

Step 3: Select the Orientation of the barriers on both sides as in the figure.

Step 4: Set the concrete Material of the barrier to Fc_4ksi.

Step 5: Enter Start Transverse Offset and End Transverse Offset as in the figure.

Step 6: You can make adjustments to the "Dimensions" tab if you wish.

Step 7: Quick Tip

Barriers are included in the FE model to distribute the Wind Forces.

Also, by assigning a section, you can define a custom shaped barrier.

Quick Tip: Transverse Offset Direction

Offset values use PGL as the reference point.



If icon won't appear, collapse page tree menu by clicking on arrow or using shortcut "[".
