# Lateral Bracing

This section defines horizontal lateral bracing in the top flange plane of the tub girders.

## Steps

### Step 1: Navigate to Lateral Bracing

Navigate to **Bracing > Lateral Bracing** in the tree view.

### Step 2: Assign Girder

Click the **three-dot icon** on the **Girder** cell and set **G1** to place bracing inside that girder.

### Step 3: Define Bracing Stations

Enter **Left Web Station** and **Right Web Station** values (along PGL):

* Example for LB1: Left Web Station = 3 ft, Right Web Station = 10 ft

### Step 4: Assign Section

Click the **three-dot icon** on the **Section** cell, select **Select**, and choose **AISCWT6X29**.

### Step 5: Complete All Bracing Members

Define left and right stations for all lateral bracing members on G1 and G2 girders.

### Step 6: Optional Gusset Plate Settings

Modify the **Gusset Plate** tab if desired. Changes affect 3D visualization only, not the FEA model.
