# Bolt Property

This section defines bolt specifications for field splice connections.

## Steps

### Step 1: Navigate to Bolt Property

Navigate to **Connections > Bolt Property** in the tree view.

### Step 2: Create Bolt Entries

Create 2 rows:

* **BWeb:** For web bolts
* **BFlange:** For flange bolts

### Step 3: Set Bolt Diameters

Click the **three-dot icon** on **Bolt Diameter** cell:

* Set **1.0 in** for web bolts
* Set **0.75 in** for flange bolts

### Step 4: Configure Mechanical Properties

Modify the **Mechanical Properties** tab if needed.
