Bolt Property
This section defines bolt specifications for field splice connections.
Steps
Step 1: Navigate to Bolt Property
Navigate to Connections > Bolt Property in the tree view.
Step 2: Create Bolt Entries
Create 2 rows:
BWeb: For web bolts
BFlange: For flange bolts
Step 3: Set Bolt Diameters
Click the three-dot icon on Bolt Diameter cell:
Set 1.0 in for web bolts
Set 0.75 in for flange bolts
Step 4: Configure Mechanical Properties
Modify the Mechanical Properties tab if needed.
Verification
After completing these steps, bolt properties are defined for field splice design.
