This section defines the code check template for pier footing design according to AASHTO specifications.
Navigation: Templates for Code Check > Pier Footing Code Check
Navigate to Templates for Code Check > Pier Footing Code Check in the tree view.

Click the three-dots icon on Load Combination Table and select SubstructureLCT.
Since the Pier Footing is a substructure element, assign the SubstructureLCT load combination table.

Keep the following parameters as shown:
Procedures for Shear Resistance Parameters β and θ
Generalized
Include axial effects on flexure and shear computation?
Yes
Flexure Sign (Effective Shear Depth)
Use Critical Shear Concurrent Bending Moment
