# Line Load \[CBG]

## General

**Line:** Line along which the load acts. Pick a previously defined line-geometry object.

**Stage:** Construction stage at which the line load is applied.

**Linear Load (Gravity):** Linear load magnitude (force per length) applied in the gravity (global -Z) direction. Positive values correspond to downward load.

**Element \[Girder/Deck/Foundation]:** Element onto which the line load is distributed. OpenBrIM computes nodal loads for the selected element based on the line geometry.
