Line Load [CBG]

General

Line: Line along which the load acts. Pick a previously defined line-geometry object.

Stage: Construction stage at which the line load is applied.

Linear Load (Gravity): Linear load magnitude (force per length) applied in the gravity (global -Z) direction. Positive values correspond to downward load.

Fx: Component of the line load acting along the global X axis, in force per unit length. The gravity component above acts along global Z; use these components for loads that are not purely vertical (default: 0).

Fy: Component of the line load acting along the global Y axis, in force per unit length (default: 0).

Mx: Moment component of the line load about the global X axis, in moment per unit length (default: 0).

My: Moment component of the line load about the global Y axis, in moment per unit length (default: 0).

Mz: Moment component of the line load about the global Z axis, in moment per unit length (default: 0).

Element [Girder/Deck/Foundation]: Element onto which the line load is distributed. OpenBrIM computes nodal loads for the selected element based on the line geometry.
