# Point Load \[CBG]

## General

**Point:** Point at which the load acts. Pick a previously defined point-geometry object.

**Stage:** Construction stage at which the point load is applied.

**Magnitude (Gravity):** Point load magnitude applied in the gravity (global -Z) direction. Positive values correspond to downward load.

**Element \[Girder/Deck/Foundation]:** Element onto which the point load is applied. OpenBrIM assigns the load to the nearest node of the selected element.
