# Diaphragm Construction \[CUG]

## Diaphragm Construction

**Stage:** Choose the stage at which you intend to construct the diaphragms.

**Internal Diaphragms:** Choose the internal diaphragms that you intend to construct.

**Internal Diaphragms Construction Method \[Weight only]:**

* Weight only: With the weight-only construction method, the self-weight of the diaphragm will be applied to the closest constructed nodes.
* Stiffness only: With the stiffness-only construction method, the stiffness of the diaphragm will be activated by constructing the analytical elements without applying its self-weight.
* Weight and Stiffness: With the weight and stiffness construction method, both the stiffness of the diaphragm and its self-weight will be activated by constructing the analytical elements.

**External Diaphragms:** Choose the external diaphragms that you intend to construct.

**External Diaphragms Construction Method \[Weight only/Stiffness only/Weight and Stiffness]:**

* Weight only: With the weight-only construction method, the self-weight of the diaphragm will be applied to the closest constructed nodes.
* Stiffness only: With the stiffness-only construction method, the stiffness of the diaphragm will be activated by constructing the analytical elements without applying its self-weight.
* Weight and Stiffness: With the weight and stiffness construction method, both the stiffness of the diaphragm and its self-weight will be activated by constructing the analytical elements.

**Continuity Diaphragms:** Choose the continuity diaphragms that you intend to construct.

**Continuity Diaphragms Construction Method \[Weight only/Stiffness only/Weight and Stiffness]:**

* Weight only: With the weight-only construction method, the self-weight of the diaphragm will be applied to the closest constructed nodes.
* Stiffness only: With the stiffness-only construction method, the stiffness of the diaphragm will be activated by constructing the analytical elements without applying its self-weight.
* Weight and Stiffness: With the weight and stiffness construction method, both the stiffness of the diaphragm and its self-weight will be activated by constructing the analytical elements.

**End Diaphragms:** Choose the end diaphragms that you intend to construct.

**End Diaphragms Construction Method** **\[Weight only/Stiffness only/Weight and Stiffness]:**

* Weight only: With the weight-only construction method, the self-weight of the diaphragm will be applied to the closest constructed nodes.
* Stiffness only: With the stiffness-only construction method, the stiffness of the diaphragm will be activated by constructing the analytical elements without applying its self-weight.
* Weight and Stiffness: With the weight and stiffness construction method, both the stiffness of the diaphragm and its self-weight will be activated by constructing the analytical elements.
