# Girder Deconstruction \[CUG]

## Girder Deconstruction

For rehabilitation projects, after constructing the existing structure, users can remove some parts of the girder. The OpenBrIM FEA engine automatically calculates load distribution to the bearings based on stiffness and the unbalanced load vector after deconstruction.

**Stage:** In this stage, the girder’s analytical model will be deconstructed, and the unbalanced load vector will be computed and redistributed throughout the structure.

**Girders:** Choose the girders for the deconstruction.

**Girder Start Station**: For girder deconstruction definitions, the start station can be specified using this parameter.

**Girder End Station**: For girder deconstruction definitions, the end station can be specified using this parameter.

# Agent Instructions: Querying This Documentation

If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.openbrim.org/templates/concrete-u-girder-bridge-workflow/construction-cug/superstructure-deconstruction-cug/girder-deconstruction-cug.md?ask=<question>
```

The question should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
