# Load Geometry Definitions \[CUG]

In addition to the library objects, it is possible to apply different loads to the bridge. The first step is to define the load geometrically. OpenBrIM provides three options for this:

* **Surface Loads**: Common types include roadway, stay-in-place formworks, and utility loads.
* **Line Loads**: Utility loads are frequently used.
* **Point Loads**: Various utility loads can be applied.

For further explanations of each load geometry, refer to the documentation on the corresponding pages.

```
The question should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.
Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
