# Pushover \[CUG]

To understand a structure's seismic capabilities, several methods exist. In the case of bridge engineering, for bridges with Seismic Design Categories C ,D, E and F Pushover Analysis or, alternatively, Nonlinear Static Procedure can be conducted.

The Moment-Curvature Report can be used to calculate data associated with OpenBrIM’s Pushover Analysis. The report outcome includes Hinge Property Data, which can be directly applied to the hinge properties of a section, as well as the cracked inertia values, both of which can be used for seismic analysis.

Additionally, hinge properties can be defined for seismic analysis in both Nonlinear and Linear cases.

# Agent Instructions: Querying This Documentation

If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.openbrim.org/templates/concrete-u-girder-bridge-workflow/properties-cug/pushover-cug.md?ask=<question>
```

The question should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
