Sound Wall [RW]

The Sound Wall object models a noise barrier carried on top of a retaining wall segment, or on a barrier hosted by it.

General

Host (Barrier or Segment): The barrier or wall segment that carries the sound wall. The sound wall follows the alignment and top elevation of its host.

Start Offset: Longitudinal offset of the sound wall start from the start of its host (default: 0).

End Offset: Longitudinal offset of the sound wall end from the end of its host (default: 0).

Sound Wall Material: Material assigned to the sound wall.

SoundWall

Height: Height of the sound wall above its host (default: 72).

Thickness: Thickness of the sound wall (default: 8).

Transverse Offset: Transverse offset of the sound wall from the centerline of its host (default: 0).

FEA

Generate FEM [NO=0/YES=1]: Setting this to NO disables the analytical representation of the sound wall (default: YES=1).

Quantities

Total Volume: Volume of the sound wall. (Read-only)

Total Weight: Weight of the sound wall. (Read-only)

Material: Material reported for the sound wall in quantity take-offs. (Read-only)
