# Deck Load \[SPIG]

Surface loads applied to the deck.

## Deck Load

**Stage:** Construction stage at which the load is applied.

**Deck:** Deck object on which the surface load is applied.

**Fx:** Force in the longitudinal direction (along the PGL).

**Fy:** Force perpendicular to the PGL.

**Fz (Gravity):** A positive value produces a load in the global -Z direction (gravity). Typical surface loads such as wearing surface dead loads use positive values.
