Uniform Temperature Load [SIG]

General

Normally, two distinct scenarios should be generated with two stages for contraction and expansion.

Bridge: Choose the bridge to automatically apply the temperature load on all deck and girder components. (Required, Default: BRG1)

Stage: Choose a stage to apply the uniform temperature loading. (Default: NULL)

Temperature Change From Mean: When dealing with expansion, it is necessary to input a positive temperature value, whereas a negative temperature value should be utilized for contraction. (Type: Temperature, Unit Category: Property, Default: 0)

Applied Elements [Superstructure=1/Superstructure and Substructure=2]: Selects which parts of the bridge the uniform temperature change is applied to — the superstructure only, or the superstructure together with the substructure (default: Superstructure=1).
