Concrete Pier Cap Code Check [SIG]
General
Code Check Template: The code check template is utilized to extract global parameters, results from finite element analysis, and limit states employed in the design process.
Pier Cap: Pier cap or bent for code check. The selected object is only used for extracting the results of an analysis and performing demand computation. Capacity computation will rely on the reinforcement information and section collected in this section.
Code Check Loc(Dist from Right End): The distance from the right end (when looking upstream along the PGL) of the pier cap, where the code checks will be performed, can be specified using this parameter.

Design Section w Rebars(or Tendons)[Override Section/Section from 3D]: Override Section/Section from 3D option selects whether user provides override section or section is generated from 3D pier cap geometry with reinforcement.
Override Section: Select a section that contains longitudinal rebars. This section will be used for capacity computations at the proposed station entered in the 'Code Check Loc(Dist from Right End)' parameter.
Shear Reinforcement Data[User Input/From 3D]: Select User Input to manually specify shear reinforcement properties, or From 3D to extract from pier cap geometry.
Below parameters are active If Shear Reinforcement Data is selected as User Input
Shear Reinforcement Profile: This parameter can be used to select the shear reinforcement profile.
Shear Reinforcement Material: This parameter can be used to select the shear reinforcement material.
Spacing of the Shear Reinforcement: This parameter can be used to specify the spacing of the shear reinforcement.
Number of Legs of Shear Reinforcement: This parameter can be used to indicate the number of legs of the shear reinforcement.
Check For[Flexure Only/All]: Flexure Only option checks flexure only to avoid high shear predictions at rigid connections; All option performs complete flexure and shear code checks.
Detailed Report PDF Name (Export): This parameter allows the name of the code check document to be modified when saving it as a PDF. When renaming the file, special attention must be given to the text characters on the linked page, as certain characters may interfere with parametric equations and lead to unexpected results.
State Provisions PDF Name (Export): When 'State Provisions' is selected, this parameter allows customization of the generated code check report's name. As with the 'Detailed Report PDF Name' input parameter, careful attention must be paid to the use of illegal characters.
