# Arch Deconstruction \[TB]

The Arch Deconstruction workflow item removes previously constructed arch ribs, arch bracings, and hangers from the structural model at a selected construction stage. From the selected stage onward, the stiffness contribution of each listed element is deactivated and the corresponding weight is dropped.

## Arch Deconstruction

**Stage:** Select the [Construction Stage \[TB\]](/templates/truss-bridge-workflow/construction-tb/construction-stage-tb.md) at which the arch elements will be deconstructed. The arch, bracing, and hanger FE groups are deactivated from this stage onward.

**Selected Arches:** Pick the arch ribs to deconstruct at the selected stage.

**Selected Arch Bracings:** Pick the arch bracings to deconstruct at the selected stage.

**Selected Hangers:** Pick the hangers to deconstruct at the selected stage.
