# Cross-Project Data \[TB]

For objects from a global/master truss-bridge model to be transferred to a child/local model, Cross-Project Data objects can be utilized. Definitions for sharing bridge elements, gusset plates, substructures, and analysis results are specified in this section; guidance on using the shared data from another project is given in the External References section.

The use of these objects is beneficial when several engineers are working on different parts of the same truss bridge (each on a separate element, without affecting the main project), or when a global model needs adjustments that are easier to make by sharing a subset of elements into a local model.
