Gusset Plate

This section defines gusset plate connections for cross-frame members, including plate geometry and bolt arrangements.

Steps

Step 1: Set Connection Type

Click the three-dots icon on the Connection Type cell and select BOLTED.

Step 2: Assign Material

Click the three-dots icon on the Material cell and select A709_50W.

  1. Click the three-dots icon and select Import Material

Step 3: Configure Bolt Settings

Navigate to the Bolt tab.

Click the three-dots icon on the Bolt Property cell and select BoltGusset.

Step 4: Set Bolt Arrangement

Click the three-dots icon on the Bolt Arrangement cell and select Edit.
