Framing Plan CADD [CUG]
In a bridge project, the framing plan typically refers to a technical drawing that shows how the structural system of the bridge is arranged in the horizontal plane. In other words, it illustrates the locations, dimensions, and layout of beams, columns, and other structural elements that carry the loads on the bridge. Simply put:
The framing plan is a top view of the structural elements located in the superstructure (such as beams and deck slabs) or substructure (such as piers and columns).
This plan shows where each element is positioned, how they are connected, and how the loads are distributed.
Engineers and construction teams use this drawing to understand the load-bearing system of the structure and to build it correctly.
In contrast to other code checks, the drawings are presented in the CAD section.

In the CAD interface, located at the bottom left of the screen, users can select the desired drawing.

General
Bridge: Since OpenBrIM supports the modeling of multiple bridges, this parameter should specify the bridge for which the Framing Plan is to be generated.
Start/End PGL #ft from before/after Bridge: This parameter specifies the offset distance from the start and end points of the Alignment Line at which the drawing should begin. The value is scaled according to the drawing scale.

Support Line Range for Framing Plan Drawing[All/Selection]: This parameter is used to determine the range of support lines, defined in the project, between which the Framing Plan drawing will be generated. If the parameter is set to "All", the drawing will include all defined support lines. If the "Selection" option is chosen, the drawing will include only the specified support lines.

Selected Support Lines: This parameter becomes active when the “Support Line Range for Framing Plan Drawing” is set to “Selection.” Once activated, the Framing Plan drawing will include only the selected support lines. A minimum of two support lines must be selected. To choose the support lines, click the three-dot icon next to the parameter and use the Pick or Select function.

Examples of Framing Plan drawings generated when “All” is selected for support line selection, as well as when only the Pier 2 and Pier 3 support lines are selected, are shown below.

Visual Setting
Text Size: This parameter is used to specify the sizes of the text elements used in the drawing.
Arrow Size: This parameter specifies the sizes of the arrows used in the drawing.
Cross Frame Dim. Lines Offset from Exterior Girder Edge: This parameter specifies the offset distance from the exterior girder at which the cross frame (bracing) dimension line should be plotted in the drawing.

Splice Dim. Lines Offset from Exterior Girder Edge: This parameter specifies the offset distance from the exterior girder at which the field splice dimension line should be plotted in the drawing.

Transverse Stiff. Dim. Lines Offset from Exterior Girder Edge: This parameter specifies the offset distance from the exterior girder at which the transverse stiffener dimension line should be plotted in the drawing.

Girder Trans. Dim. Lines Offset: This parameter specifies the distance from the endpoint of the framing plan drawing at which the dimension lines indicating the transverse offset value between girders are to be displayed.

PGL Name Box Offset along PGL: This parameter ensures that the PGL name progresses in the direction of the PGL in the drawing.

PGL Name Box Vert. Offset from Point: This parameter determines the amount by which the PGL name should be offset vertically.

PGL Name Box Horz. Offset from Point: This parameter determines the amount by which the PGL name should be offset horizontally.

PGL Line Split per Span: This parameter determines the number of segments into which the PGL line will be divided per span. In a horizontal curve bridge drawing, increasing this value produces a smoother representation.
