# Pier Cap Code Check T

This section configures the code check template for pier cap design verification.

## Steps

### Step 1: Navigate to Pier Cap Code Check T

Navigate to **Templates for Code Check > Pier Cap Code Check T** in the tree view.

### Step 2: Configure Flexure Checks

Set parameters for flexural capacity verification:

* Moment capacity calculations
* Reinforcement requirements
* Crack control checks

### Step 3: Configure Shear Checks

Set parameters for shear capacity verification:

* Shear strength calculations
* Stirrup requirements
* Interface shear (if applicable)

### Step 4: Define Check Locations

Specify critical sections:

* Column faces
* Bearing locations
* Maximum moment regions
